I've been reeling the books in again! I've managed to gather up a mass of 18 books this month, which is pretty cool considering I turned 18 this month too.
~ BOUGHT ~
1. Crusher by Niall Leonard
I will admit I was slightly deterred when I found out this guy was married to E.L. James (yes, that one) but can't judge a guy over his spousal choices. This book does sound good but I've heard mixed things.
2. You Against Me by Jenny Downham
Seems like a really interesting, original plot, looking forward to this one.
3. Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson
Purely got this because of the hype, not going to deny it. All I've seen people talk about on certain blogs and forums is the Maximum Ride books, so I'm going to jump in.
4. Tempest by Julie Cross
I saw this book last year and I what initially caught my attention was the similarity between its cover and that of Hush, Hush. Turns out the same photographer did the tempest cover! Hush, Hush covers are best in my opinion but anywho....
5. BZRK: Reloaded by Michael Grant
Okay, a bit of truth telling here. I haven't actual read BZRK yet and I only got this because I saw Michael Grant last week and I wanted him to sign it...
6. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
I have wanted this book for ages. Seriously, we're talking about 18 months here. Finally, finally I have it! And in hardback. Win!
7. Fury by Elizabeth Miles
This is book I have gone back and fourth over, it has elements of greek mythology in it which is something I love, but the way it's put across sounds weird. There was also a situation with the covers and the fact the UK changed it to an original then went to the original US style for the sequels, but then the US covers got changed! Ugh, I hate book cover changes, makes us book lovers lives stressful.
8. The Luxe by Anna Godbersen
I don't know what actually cause me to buy this book, I think it was just purely on a whim, try something different for a change.
9. Everneath by Brodi Ashton
This is another story with Greek Mythology elements. It seems really good and based upon the Persephone and Hades myth if I'm correct which is one of my faves. Hopefully this will be a good read.
10. Torn by Cat Clarke
It was this or Entangled. Something pulled me towards this.
11. Die for Me by Amy Plum
Kathleen read this and loved it, so I'm going to give it a go.
12. The Hollow by Jessica Verday
This was another book bought purely on a whim. It sounds okay enough, think it has ghosts in it, I have heard quite a few negatives about this book, hopefully I'll like it.
13. Immortal City by Scott Speer
This and it's sequel, Natural Born Angel were in a two pack for £3.50. Had. To. Buy.
14. Natural Born Angel by Scott Speer
Sequel to Immortal City, hopefully I actually enjoy the first book to get to this.
15. Carrier of the Mark by Leigh Fallon
Been looking at this for a while, caved in and bought it.
16. Ashes by Ilsa J. Bick
Recommended by Michael Grant. Enough said.
17. Numbers by Rachel Ward
I looked at this years ago but never picked it up. Going to give a go, it does sound promising.
18. Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
Okay, I'm not sure why I bought this book because when it arrived I didn't recall ever reading such a synopsis, so this may have been an accidental buy.
~ E-Books ~
1. My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent
For FREE on iTunes Bookstore. I don't tend to read digital books but there's a first time for everything.
2. The Selection by Kiera Caas
This is another book I've wanted to read for sometime, got it on iTunes as I'm not too sure about it anymore.
3. Unravelling by Elizabeth Norris
Another one I bought on iTunes, again not too sure about it.
You Against Me, The Angel Experiment, My Soul to Take and The Selection are all amazing. All your other books look awesome too. Enjoy :D
